the quality of the workout, balance between strength, power, endurance
the quality of the trainers, their training and ability to pay attention to form and provide guidance during the class
how well balanced
love the trainers at Tigard, all of them!!!
I love the energy & encouragement from the teachers! Sometimes the music is a bit too loud. Have you tested the sound to make sure it is safe? Also, I wish the coaches would remind people to stay with their station number; if you get on treadmill number 2, then you go to workout station number 2 and rower number 2 :)
I've been a member of a boot camp for seven years but left for a number of reasons, which Orange Theory is satisfying.
I love the emphasis on safety.
I know that if I really push myself and go all out, that I'm also going to have a chance to recover. It helps me to have the confidence to go for it. (the other place pushed so hard all the time that I sometimes held back because I wasn't sure I could recover.)
There is an emphasis on pushing oneself, but there isn't a huge emphasis on competing with your neighbors. I got sick of that at the other place.
Sorry to do so much comparison here, but these are the things that stand out to me. And, by the way, I have recommended you to many, many people now.
