I loved it! I wish I could afford a membership. The workout was challenging but at a pace I could handle. The group was encouraging and the instructor actually cared about me personally. I would go regularly if it was within my budget.
I love that it balances keeping things individually competative. I can watch my heart rate, and watch my splat points to hold myself accountable. Love the group energy of everyone around you working hard. Music is usually spot on (I'm not too picky) I just like it to be loud and high energy. I love that the coaches have taken the time to know my name and they know they can push me too. The interval workout is satisfying on all sorts of levels. No doubt I've gotten so much stronger since I started. I rave about OTF to everyone. I haven't found a group fitness workout that I've lived this much since leaving my collegiate athletic team. And that's saying a lot, because I'm pretty sure I've tried everything out there. Thanks for all the great work outs. You all are amazing!!
Every Orange Theory Fitness workout is different. Each class is challenging because I'm working at own best effort and as my fitness level increases my effort has to as well.
The coaches encourage me to challenge myself and provide options to do so. They also offer low impact options to select as needed.
The music is upbeat and motivating and the entire team is friendly!
1) The results. I have been attending 2-3 classes/week for the past 6 months and my body looks the best it has in years.
2) The atmosphere. I always feel welcome at OTF Uptown. The front desk staff remembers small details about me and asks me about my life. The trainers know me and give me feedback throughout class. I like that I feel a part of the team, rather than dealing with the competition that is present at other gyms.
3) Never a dull moment. I like that the workout is always different. The trainers challenge me to push beyond where I would go if I wasn't in a group setting, and I never get bored.
