I love the pace and varied intensity of the workouts. Competing against myself for personal records always give me something to work towards. I love my coach, particularly Coach Mo. His attitude, attention to detail, corrective feedback, music and warm inviting personality are qualities of a grade A coach.

Unlike traditional gyms, every workout pushes you at a high intensity for a defined amount of time and measures your intensity with a heart rate monitor. You can't slack off like at traditional gyms where you work by yourself without an instructor. At the same time the heart rate monitors let you know when you are pushing too hard so you know to back off and don't get a heart attack. This is very useful if you're in your 30s and 40s where this becomes a risk. There are other gyms like Crossfit which push hard, but push too hard, and their clients get serious injuries like Rhabdo, which they actually have a t-shirt for. I don't think getting Rhabdo is cool. I like that focus is heavily on cardio with some light calisthenics like push ups, sit ups, and TRX. If you have a pull up bar at home and spend 5 or 10 minutes doing pull ups twice a week to supplement it's a complete preparation for Military or Marine Corps style PFTs which consist of mile run time, sit ups and pull ups.

I'm hooked after my very first class, and that's coming from someone who usually can't stand working out! The coach, the music, everything gets you pumped and in the right mindset for an amazing workout. I didn't spend the entire time counting down the minutes until I was done, I just focused on the goal and pushed myself and I've felt great ever since. I also love how each class is just about YOU and making sure you're doing what works for you so you achieve your goals. I will definitely be going back!

I love the intensity and dynamic workouts. One thing, I'd like to see more is integration of participants, in the way cheering each other out, high fives at the end, etc.

I like the high energy, but some classes have better music than others - it's not consistent. Also, the studio can do more to clean the gym throughout the day.
