I love the mix of rowing, running & weight training. It makes for a challenging and balanced workout. My favorite instructors are Miriam & Corey. Your new instructors, Thaddeus & Madison need much more experience. They fail to inspire me. I think their cueing and timing and command of the class are lacking.
Also, the club is not as clean as it was when you first opened. When I come in for an afternoon/evening class, some of the treadmills have dried sweat marks on the rails. I know that members wipe down equipment after they're done but a lot of people who sweat profusely, do not wipe down their rails. It's disgusting! Perhaps instructors should cue the class to do so and /or staff should give treadmills and rowers a big "once over" after all the morning classes are done so the equipment is clean & sparkly ;) for the afternoon folks.
I love the whole OT team in Williamsburg. The instructors and crew at the desk are always super helpful, friendly and treat you like family.
I'm always greeted with a smile and feel welcomed. The initial courtesy from the moment walking in transcribes to motivation in the training room. I feel more energy and optimism while working out, knowing the instructors and crew are so approachable and genuinely have my back and best interest.
Attitude is everything. Positive encouragement, new challenges and kindness keeps me coming back :)
I truly love this place, it's a lot more than a gym it's a community.
That it's constantly challenging in new ways. Also, as I can't afford to go to OTF regularly, I like that some of the moves I learn can also be done at a normal gym, but I come back for the great coaches and ever-changing workouts.
