I have now purchased three kayaks from Orchid Outfitters, my sales person Nick is amazing. His knowledge of the Hobie's is off the hook and his wonderful personality is amazing. Nick is the reason why I didn't purchase my new third Hobie elsewhere.
Nick is transparent and I applaud him for that, because many salse folks don't hear the customer, they just think of making a sale.

Well, first... I AM #1!
I was given that nom de guerre by Nick, the store manager. So...off I sail in my gleaming new Hobie Mirage Tandem Island - Dune color - "Zephyrus" tacking back toward the Gentle Western Winds!
Nick and Mike gave me First Class customer support and I feel I have met new friends to guide my on my new adventures in Eastern Florida and beyond; Bahamas anyone? My new TI beacons for me to customize it with more of the abundant available features and trick it out to make it Mine!
I shopped around much of Florida, willing to drive some distance to acquire my new toy but I was lucky to settle Orchid Outfitters only 45 minutes away. They stand out as the best outfitting resource in eastern Florida with their blend of inventory, resources and experience in the area to send me out for a successful adventure on the water.

Nick and Mike made it super easy to find the exactly perfect product I needed by providing quality information for the sake of making sure I understood all the options available to me without any sales pressure.
Product: Type III Astral brand life vest
10 out of 10. I wore the vest out on the water for about 90 minutes in my kayak and never even noticed it. Had more leg room without a bulky, uncomfortable vest tucked down there.
Service: 10 out of 10 will return and recommend to everyone who seeks any type of paddling gear/assistance.

The selection is unbelievable. The staff is knowledgeable and eager and willing to go the extra mile. I purchased several pairs of the the Teva sandals. I was unable to find the size I needed in the pattern that I wanted. The young man helping me went to the back and came out with 5 more pairs of my size in patterns I didn't have. Can't say enough about the quality of the merchandize there or the service.!
