A Remarkable School That Has Shaped Our Children’s Lives Palm Harbor Montessori Academy has been an extraordinary place for our family, a school that blends Montessori academic excellence with a deep commitment to nurturing the whole child. Over the past five years, both of our children have been fortunate to learn and grow in an environment that emphasizes independence, respect, and curiosity. The teachers are truly exceptional, not just educators, but mentors and champions who see each student as an individual. Their dedication, compassion, and consistency have given our children the confidence and support they needed to thrive. Most recently, we had a sensitive discussion about retaining our eldest for an additional year. The grace, thoughtfulness, and care with which the school approached this decision underscored everything we already believed about PHMA: they always put the child first. The curriculum encourages critical thinking and self-motivation, and the learning environment is calm, purposeful, and joyful. We’ve watched our children become not only stronger students but kinder humans, and that’s due in large part to the values modeled and reinforced here every day. Palm Harbor Montessori Academy has been more than just a school; it has been a village, a home, and a foundation for our kids’ futures. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing experience our son has had at PHMA, especially with his teacher, Ms. Yenny. We’ve had the joy of having her as his teacher for three years, first in the pre-primary program and now in primary, and it’s been such a gift. Every morning, she greets our son with the biggest hug and warmest smile, creating a safe, loving environment that he absolutely thrives in. Ms. Yenny is so patient and attentive, always taking the time to listen to his stories, encourage friendships, and truly connect with the children at their level. She brings joy to the classroom, laughing and learning alongside them, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about each child’s growth. Thanks to the Montessori approach and Ms. Yenny’s nurturing guidance, our son has blossomed. He’s become a confident, kind, and independent little boy who loves playing both on his own and with friends. In just the past year, we’ve seen his skills take off, from writing his name and counting to 100, to learning math concepts and even facts about different countries. It’s been incredible to witness. PHMA and Ms. Yenny have created an environment where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to grow. We truly can’t thank them enough!

I really appreciate the staff's willingness to do what is best for my child and the flexibility to get that done. I really also appreciate Miss Lori Ringo as a teacher. I am a teacher educator and once in a while I come across someone who has such passion for teaching, but who also possesses that gift for the craft. Miss Lori is one of those people.

The family atmosphere at Palm Harbor Montessori Academy provides a setting for my children that I could not receive at a public school. I am very happy with how my children's teachers support a positive learning environment and keep the classroom calm. This is our fourth year at the school and we are happy to continue our educational journey with PHMA!

Very caring staff and teachers. Strong arts programs, extra curriculars and very good academic focused environment. It is so helpful to have the before and after care hours with adequate staff and class size. The staff and teachers work very well together and competent staff are promoted as appropriate. This school is very well run and provides a stable environment for my preschool and lower elementary children.
