If it weren't for the Womens' Swim at the JCC, I doubt I'd be exercising at all let alone "religiously"! Thank you so much for providing this venue for me and others who share my needs and values.
I like being able to swim, though the Park Heights JCC can't finish the remodeling too soon for me; and the staff are friendly and efficient
The library is good too
LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing women of all ages and religious affiliations taking advantage of the myriad of offerings in the Group Fitness program. I also wish there could be more COED options there, so we would not have to schlep out to the Owings Mills JCC when the opportunity for our family to enjoy a class together.
The new Park Heights facilities are shaping up beautifully. Staff is courteous and helpful. Accommodations are made to service the entire Jewish community. Thank you.
I am a regular at the Park Heights J. Group exercise classes are my usual destination. And they are fabulous, with top notch instructors! And the remodeling is almost finished. We're in new rooms which are really great.
I joined JCC 11 years ago when I moved to Baltimore. I just go to Kathy Reed's 2 classes - Tai Chi and extra gentle yoga. I feel the health benefits of flexibility and help with balance. The attendees are very congenial.
The JCC (both centers) in the greater Washington area are a haven and hub for Jewish life in every category; from physical activities/exercise to programming of all kinds, events, camps and pretty much anything you can think of. Based on how much "bang" you get for your buck, it's one of the best investments under the sun.
