We have been very pleased with the youth basketball and youth indoor soccer programs! Evan Marksley (I think that is his name) does an amazing job and all team members do a great job encouraging the kids and facilitating the games. The coaches my son had were also wonderful! Overall, our experience coming to the YMCA outside of those programs has been very overwhelming and we often observe kids goofing off and playing in an unsafe way without parent or adult supervision. We have left earlier than planned on numerous occasions due to that. I know it is difficult to monitor and oversee and I ultimately believe parents should be directly responsible for the behavior of their kids, especially when the safety of others are in jeopardy. We have observed YMCA staff attempt to monitor once, but it still was a frustrating experience especially since my kids were disappointed when leaving.

There are no words to adequately describe all the benefits I receive from the Parkview Y; I always recommend the Chair Yoga classes (taught by Mary and Mikah), D'Anna's Silver Sneakers class, as well as the Chair Volleyball session on Mondays. It's a place to meet "like-minded" people and a place to have fun, get exercise and to stay active, physically as well as socially.

I like the people who run the place and the large variety of group exercises especially for seniors. The place is kept clean. I like the kid friendly atmosphere and events, classes, etc.

The person at the desk was very helpful and seem to really enjoy her job. I was in to get a new card and she said there would be a $5 charge and I said that would be fine. She just started laughing and said there is no charge. It nice to see people having fun when they work.
