I like the indoor walking tracj. I was in last week and the lady that helped me to choose the machines to use fir my joints and joint pain was very nice and helpful.
I really like the resistance equipment in the weight room. By that I mean the equipment with the orange push buttons.
I also really like the warm temperature in the indoor pool.
I have been a Y member since 01/25. Any equipment related to fitness is available for use.
The Y has the means & equipment to help me meet my fitness goals
Good instructors: good facilities; good programs for my interests (swimming; aqua aerobics)
Wish there were more aqua aerobics classes offered. Even though I am willing to travel some, I am often shut out of classes if I am “late” to sign up. Late often being 5 minutes after the opportunity to register begins.
So very happy that the air conditioning has been fixed!!!
One thing that is concerning me is that there are some people in some of the non-Yoga classes going barefoot. While it does not bother me if they are on their mat, they are using "equipment" (stability balls, bosu, bands) and putting their feet on them and not cleaning them afterwards. At least one of the people goes into the restrooms without shoes. While I try to wipe off my equipment before using it, I don't always have time. Can we at least require socks in those classes that are not yoga related?
