They put in a lot of time and effort for training and lead teachers getting their certifications for Montessori. The communication is great and everyone always has a smile on their face even during hard times when it comes to being short staffed, especially during illness season.
The teachers are amazing and my children love going to school! They’re learning so much, and not just curricular work, they’re learning confidence and responsibility. It’s very cool to see.
I'm so happy we found Peaceful Valley Montessori Golden Valley! We feel so grateful to send our little to this school. We especially are so thankful for all the teachers in CH3! Thank you for all you do to pour love, life skills, and knowledge into our little love!
There's something about Montessori that really spoke to my children, and to us as parents. We've had at least one child at Peaceful Valley in Golden Valley for almost ten years, and there are parts of the experience that seem ingrained into my older children's personalities at this point. They have broad interests and enjoy playing independently as well as with other kids - they still "roll out a work mat" at times. They are confident and bright, and have had the opportunity to have special academic experiences at their public school that I attribute in part to being very ready to enter kindergarten through the reading, writing, and math skills they learned at Peaceful Valley. And they are independent and helpful - while I still question the outfit choices all three of them make, they started making those decisions as toddlers and were encouraged by their amazing teachers to do all sorts of things - from helping to fold laundry in the classroom, to arranging flowers, to cutting pickles or helping younger children with their works. I will always rave about our Montessori experience and in particular our experience at Peaceful Valley.
We love how our child is encouraged to develop independence from the very beginning. The teachers are exceptional and consistently support this growth, which we now see reflected at home.
We are so grateful for our time at PVMA. Our daughter absolutely loved it and learned so much thanks to the kind, thoughtful, and loving teachers. They made her feel safe, happy, and excited to go each day. We always felt supported and knew she was in wonderful hands. We’ll miss everyone there so much and can’t recommend PVMA enough.
Several noticeable things done in the classroom have made a difference for our child’s development, even at the infant stage: quiet and independent play time have translated to good behaviors at home, feeding solids at the table has helped developed comfort at home, socialization with other babies has led to more comfort in public areas.
Like all daycare facilities there have been some hiccups, but the main teacher (Amy is great!) and principals have been great resources to resolve moving forward.
My boys are cared for and loved at school. They learn lots of interesting facts that keep them talking, and have grown to be such independent children. I am proud of the growth and progress they have and continue to make at school!
I love how wonderful the teachers are, how caring they are and how much my child loves them. I always feel confident and safe knowing my child is at PV. Although everything is fantastic, one thing to make it even better would be to get a little more information on the app about how the child's day went (infant classrooms specifically) overall. Just a brief summery statement each day of the kids affect (fussy, happy, hard to put to sleep, etc) and what they did would be appreciated!
