I took in my Pearson On and On for its first full service today. I was met at the door of Forge 1860 with a cup of excellent coffee, and my bike emerged from the workshop a couple of hours later. The mechanic was super-helpful, answering all my questions, and offering useful advice. The bike feels fantastic following the service: it’s great to know that there are people at Forge 1860 who really know their stuff.

Fixed my road bike (broken spoke and buckled wheel) quickly so I could get back on the road.

The products are of course amazing! do you think that makes the biggest difference? Is the service. Always a friendly voice they have lots of time to explain and to think about what I really want and to give advice. I don’t just enjoy the forge (road bike), which which I treasure. Also enjoy visiting and having a coffee once at Forge 1860!

Great bikes, great service. My only criticism would be the price of in shop goods and servicing is pretty high compared to others

Well organised self-guided ride with lovely support at start, midpoint and finish

Very knowledgeable, friendly team. The shop is beautifully laid out. The bikes are top notch and you get a lot for your money. High end bikes that perform well. Will and Guy couldn't be more accommodating and know their stuff but then they have years of experience and being the oldest bike shop in the World they have the credentials (Guiness World Record verified ) As a female cyclist it can be hard to walk into a bike shop but the team will look after you and are not patronising. Once you own a bike you also become part of the zpearson family being invited to events and rides. Highly recommended

Fantastic bike and service

Friendly and fast service. Beautiful shop.

I've had a Pearson irons in the fire bike for 3 years and it's still fantastic. Getting help from the service team is always easy and spot on. Every aspect of the Pearson/Forge experience is just superb. Thanks

Nas was extreamly helpful and informative - It's the most comfortable I've been on the bike since buying it 3 years ago - would highly recommend

Really helpful and knowledgeable team who helped me with purchasing my first road bike. Ben and Nas were excellent! Thank you very much.

Friendly and fitted us in.

Excellent quality products. Fantastic service by knowledgeable people

Fast and friendly service. Great to be able to talk to the workshop about a problem with my bike wheel. Experienced and knowledgeable team, good advice and repair completed very quickly.

Really like my "on and on" gravel bike. Very good on both road and gravel. Friendly people working in the shop giving good and prompt service when required and always seem to be able to fix the small tricky non standard issues

As a Pearson bike owner I have found all the staff to be most helpful, the bikes fantastic to ride and the coffee great! Highly recommended.

Personal, attentive, friendly. It’s the Platonic form of the local bike shop.

There is nothing else like this in the market. They provide a highly professional family bespoke service from purchase onwards. I have always been thoroughly impressed and delighted with everything they have done for me. Brilliant!

My journey with Pearson and the team at Forge 1860 has been amazing. I relate to and have literally bought into their ethos of fit first and the rest will follow. Personally it was quite an investment, but the attention and sentiment to get me, on the right bike, for me, was worth it. I intend to continue my relationship with the team through servicing and periodic fittings. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Great service. For a shop that is full of beautiful expensive bikes they also do a great job on servicing and repairs at a competitive price. And mine is NOT a beautiful expensive bike!
