I was completely new to what I was seeking (e-bike). The people at PEDAL (downtown), every single one of them, were so friendly, helpful, and informative. No one treated me like a dummy. I watched as customers came in for various things and everyone was treated with great respect and kindness. All my questions were answered and if they didn’t know an answer they said so. They gave me reading information that was super helpful. I got my bike yesterday (4-18-26). I went for a test ride and asked one of them to come with me. I never felt like I asked a dumb question. They also deliver.
I most definitely would recommend PEDAL (downtown) to anyone looking to buy a bike or having work done.

Very knowledgable staff with scary, savant-type smarts about bikes
Friendly and kind folks who make an inviting, comfortable atmosphere. You don't feel intimidated when you walk in there even though you know there are SERIOUS bicyclists who call this place home and you're just a weekend rider. And they don't care that when you bring your bike to them for service that you might have bought it on Facebook. You still get the same treatment as someone who buys $3,000 road bikes from them every other year.

Friendly, knowledgable staff, greeted when you come in, feels accessible and welcoming to bike newbies, the joy of supporting a local business, nice selection, located on the bike lane - easy to get to by bike! I feel a sense of community when I come in the door - and I love their 'Bicyclical' emails - it's a delightful selection of local events (both bike and non), music, and other interesting tidbits.
