We own our own business and as soon as my wife, Brenda, talked to Tamara about coming over and getting a bicycle at Pedal Power, we knew these were people that we wanted to do business with. We have run an accounting firm for 35 years and feel we have become a pretty good judge of character, even from first impressions. They definitely pass the test and sell some awesome bicycles to boot. Eric and Brenda Vordenbaum
Sales person first listened to what I was saying, understood my needs, and made recommendations. Not pushy or out to sell me something I didn’t need. A good experience. Was real impressed with store’s inventory and steps taken to keep everyone healthy.
The service tech James was very helpful over the phone. He had the bike assembled for me. When we arrived from San Antonio, the transaction was quick and smooth. My 3 year old daughter rode the bike the first time and the clamp from the headstock that holds the handlebars secure was not tight enough. The handlebars rotated down. Luckily my husband knows bikes, had the tools, and was able to tighten them. Thankfully we didn’t have to make another trip back to San Marcos. She is happy with her bike.
Bike shop guys are usually snobs, everyone we dealt with at pedal power was helpful and friendly. We sold some used bikes and bought a few new ones, will definitely trade with these guys often in the years to come.
I can’t thank the staff at Pedal Power enough. Though I was unable to purchase a bike due to Other financial obligations, they were great to work with. I would give my highest recommendation to anyone looking for a great Bike shop.
Your shop had a great selection of Electra Townies and I found exactly the color and model I wanted. I wasn’t able to make it to your shop before it closed on a Saturday and you allowing A deposit to hold the bike until Tuesday was awesome! The bike was assembled perfectly and check-out was a breeze. I will definitely be back for any future purchases. Great shop!
I thought Griffin did a great job going over all the differences between two bikes that I was looking at buying. (I haven’t rode bikes in a bout 10 years) I like the way that he showed me the key features of the bike and afterwards helped me load it in the car with my crazy barking dog. No pressure just professionalIsm. The only downside it wasn’t the exact color that I wanted, but I was glad they had a bike that really worked for me in stock. Trek Dual Sport 2. It’s a very sweet ride!
