I love the size and the different equipment in the weight room. The myriad of different classes and activities that anyone, including kids, can join. The basketball courts are always nice and well kept. And the pool area is always clean and nice. We’ve loved our time at the Y and it’s been a great investment!
Mi niño está en Basketball y mi niña Volleyball, a los 2 les encanta. Disfrutan mucho su entrenamiento y sus partidos. Un excelente lugar donde los niños pueden comenzar a desarrollar sus habilidades en el deporte. Me encanta
I like the exercising facilities and the friendly professional staff. However, I would like to see if we could find more people to play pinochle. When I joined about 11 years ago, one of the attractions was a group the played pinochle on Tuesdays and Fridays and was even promoted in the literature. We had as many as 12 people in the group. When covid hit, we were not able to play and we lost a third of the group when we came back and attrition has knocked our group down to four people. If someone goes on vacation or has a doctor's appointment, we don't play because we don't have enough players.
Variety. of classes is great. Pranada is a great and entertaining low impact instructor & pleasure! And Hiro is wonderful too. Don't know all the instructors but Andrea also is an appreciated instructor for low impact.
Perry YMCA offers a variety of programs and activities for all ages. From fitness classes and sports to family events and youth programs, there is something for everyone. The staff is welcoming, supportive, and cares about creating a positive environment. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the programs are organized and engaging. Perry YMCA has become a place to stay active, meet great people, and be part of the community. I highly recommend it!
Great.
My only issue is the Matrix rowers in the exercise weight room.
Concept 2 are much better, truer feeling to rowing on the water.
I have used a Concept2 rower for over 40 years.
Matrix rowers have a heavy extra hard resistance when starting a stroke.
I still row racing shells, and no boat has such a feel, unless some moron(s)
suddenly decide to try to stop a boat.
