I love the Moundsville Gym. The people are great. I would like to know why the tanning area is not as great as St.Clairsville. The one tanning bed is cracked and is not up to date. The stand ups the music never works. The ventilation is to the point that you can barely breathe before your tanning session is over. Especially if it’s hot outside. I love going to StClairsville because You don’t sweat and you feel as you didn’t even tan. Which makes it nice. I wish all franchises took the time and money to have the best at everyone of their places. I go to The moundsville one because of the people that work there only reason! I go to st clairsville every time I am out that way. Thank you

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who work diligently to keep guy clean and in working order;
Have enough machines that most of the time there is no long waiting to use machines I want. Good location - just wish they opened a bit earlier than 5 am on workdays as it's difficult to work out the hour and 15 mins I need, get ready for work and be in Wheeling by 7 am for job check in.

Gyms are gyms, they have many of the same items but in varying numbers. Hours are sometimes developed to meet gym members...but all of that is expected.
What makes Planet better than most is the attention by the staff. They keep the gym moving, keep it clean and try to serve the needs of the members. They also WILL step in a make a behavior correction which is almost unheard of in many gyms.
The array of equipment is very good; the hours are adequate.
Again, I think the one factor that makes Planet step up is the staff. I am a manager type and I can see that the management system has some valuable skills in that the peace is kept with very little intrusion. So the #1 thing is staff conduct, but there is much to be said about the equipment quality and the cleanliness of the facility.

I came from Anytime Fitness and compared to them Planet Fitness is superior!!! The gym is clean, supplies are always filled, employees are nice and friendly, the personal trainer is fantastic and as a BLACK CARD Member I get access to their massage chairs and MORE!!! Best decision ever was to come to PLANET FITNESS!!
