Love taking my kids to Pig Tails & Crew! The staff is amazing and the owner is phenomenal. Everyone is great but we just went and met Brenda! Let me just tell you my son was so happy she’s there. She only read the haircut notes and knew EXACTLY how he wanted it but her barber skills truly showed up. SHe left my son looking so handsome!

Ms. Roni, understood that my son was afraid and worked with him, she worked around me having to hold his arms and head against me. He was able to get a really cute cut.

We make the drive from Metro Phoenix to this location because we love the patience and care that our children receive from the staff when receiving their haircuts. Our son has a really hard time and Brenda is so wonderful and it’s so amazing that she speaks Spanish which adds a level of comfort to our son whom we are trying to raise bilingual.

My daughter got her first (official) haircut and it went really well! She is 4.5yrs old and autistic, so I was very nervous. I even called ahead to prepare the salon. They were so gracious, understanding and kind and assured me that they could handle whatever my girl threw at them! My daughter did not want to get her haircut at all, but she was brave and Brenda was wonderful. They let her be in a sensory friendly spot instead of chair.. they worked around HER! I couldn’t believe how great and accommodating they were . Only took a bit off but made layers so it blends with the area my daughter cut herself at school 🤦🏻‍♀️ and now it's even instead of the obvious 2 inch difference! 😂 my daughter has very curly hair so I was worried it would be extra difficult. Um, no! Brenda knew what to do! My daughter left happy and sparkly because they let her choose glitter and cotton candy scent. And not one tear!! There are not many places, let alone hair salons, the will accommodate autistic kiddos.. they went above and beyond and my daughters first experience was so positive! I’m convinced she will be excited to go next time we need her haircut! I’m so grateful for Brenda and all the Pigtails and Crewcuts staff. Thank youuu!! 11 out of 10, highly recommend!!

Kelsey work with my grandson so well he move around i lot and she get it done still with no problems if she ever leave i don’t know what i would do my grandson is autistic and she work with him better then any one has ever

Even though we were running late, Ms. Brenda made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable! She was absolutely amazing with our kiddo, who has sensory sensitivities and usually finds haircuts pretty stressful. He often struggles with the clippers and sitting still, but Ms. Brenda took the time to show him the clippers, let him feel them, and answered all his curious questions with such patience and kindness. She worked quickly and skillfully, making sure he felt comfortable every step of the way, and the result? A big, happy smile on his face! It was one of the best haircut experiences he’s ever had. We’re so grateful for the staff’s neurodiversity training and the incredible patience and care they show for every child. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Brenda was great! She was gentle with our daughter due to her sensory needs. I was very surprised at my daughter not crying during the whole experience, it was awesome! Recommended her to my friends and family and will definitely be coming back. 💓
