The service was ok. For a kids place I thought they would be super friendly and talk to my son but that wasn't the case. It was my sons first hair cut and online it would not let me book an appointment for the kids first hair cut that comes with a picture, a certificate and a lock of hair. So i just booked the regular kids hair cut and figured I would tell them when I arrived. Well I arrived on time. We had to wait about 5 min for the stylist to finish his other customer. My apt was for 510pm and they finished at 505pm. So he cleans the chair and calls us over. We get my son situated in the seat he starts combing his hair and someone else walks in. He goes to check them in and then tells me that their appointment was before mine at 4:50pm so they are first. So i have to take my son out of the chair and go wait again. I guess I just don't understand what the point of making an appointment is, if the establishment doesn't uphold those appointments. They were 15 min late. Shouldn't they have had to wait until after my appointment? I was there on time. That was the first frustrating thing. So after it's finally my sons turn I get him back in the chair and I tell the guy it's his first hair cut, it wouldn't let me book that online. He doesn't say a word. So as he grabs the clippers I again say it's his first hair cut I am going to need a couple locks of his curls please. Again, not a word. And then he just starts going to town. So in between chunks of hair that are being cut off I have to squeeze in underneath the stylist and the chair and grab hair off the ground. I got no picture and no certificate. Although his hair turned out GREAT, like i haven't found a flaw yet, I still am quite disappointed in this place. It was recommended to me by 4 or 5 different people because of the way they handle kids and how nice they are however, that was NOT my experience at all!

My son has autism and was scared the first time. Your staff was very patient. We left without him getting a haircut. Second time, it went great and he did so well! I recommend your salon to everyone I know that have children with special needs. The staff at his ABA clinic visited the salon and was impressed. What makes your salon special is working with children that have special needs. I encourage you to keep doing this. Maybe even have events or socials regarding autism awareness or special needs. There is not a single other place in the city that provides a special service like yours. Which makes you standout and get repeat business and word of mouth for new clients.

Saoud is my favorite hairdresser (Hillsboro location). My four year old realyl struggles with haircuts -- screaming, crying, not sitting still, the works! -- and Saoud shows incredible patience and a calm energy that lets us work through it. And he manages to get a wonderful haircut out of my boy, somehow. I will keep coming here as long as Saoud is here!

Ms. Kayla was patient with my daughter. She worked with her sensory issues and did whatever it took to make her feel comfortable. I had tried 5 diffrent salons to try and get her hair cut, but no one was really willing to take her on or even call me back. I will continue to see Ms Kayla as long as she works there.

I brought my older son in for haircuts when he was toddler aged. My ex-husband even got an occasional haircut. Then I brought my younger son in a few times. He likes the train set and the fun chairs for kids. There’s an excess of toys to purchase and we could do without those. I’ve always been pleased with the services and experience my children have had.

It’s been 9 years since the last time I had visited this place. Recently took my two yo for his first haircut. I loved it then and still do. Friendly and very welcoming.

The truck and plane seats were so adorable. Appreciate the train track setup for waiting customers, and the screens which all parents know are magic for getting a kid to sit still. Haircut itself was quick and professional, and she asked our permission before giving our kid a lollipop which I appreciate. Also gave us a baggy for the lock of hair (it was her first cut but we didn't need the full picture and certificate). Will recommend to other parents for sure.

Ms. Rozita was fabulous! Our little guy needed a cut before the holiday and he is very feisty. She handled him perfectly and he got the best cut he could possibly get given his objections. :) She did a great job with him. Thank you!!

It’s awesome to have a place designed for and stylists used to work with kids.

It’s a safe, comfortable place for kids. Good options for shows to watch (and distract) and fun vehicles for kids to sit in. Stylists are always very kind!
