The technician was very knowledgeable and detailed. I appreciated his thorough explanation of his findings. I also value the binder that was given to me, this will come in handy for tracking future maintenance for years to come.
When I got the digital version of the inspection report it made review very easy as I am able to scroll through and zoom in.
The PTP 360 is amazing! This was a very nice touch to an already amazing service that was provided.
I really appreciate all that Pillar to Post has done for me and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for services that they offer.
The service was overall a 10 out of 10 for every part from the simple signup of the services we were getting that had descriptions, the informative videos that came with the initial emails, the communication on pricing, and especially to our inspector, Alex, who did a phenomenal job finding all the things with the house we were looking at. He made sure to answer all of our questions and left us alot more confident in our decision. The service was worth every dime. Will definitely use again and recommend to my family and friends.
For the most part the inspection was fairly well. The reason I would not is because the house we are planning on purchasing has a sun room and a indoor hot-tub. Well you would think this would be a huge red flag to an inspector.
No mention of any...
Water damage that is clearly visible on the wall next to it.
Mold/fungal growth on the carpet and rugs.
Wet to the touch carpet around it.
Heavy water damaged to the floor joists in the crawl space.
and no photos of any of this area either.
I received a call from the inspector after I complained the first time via email and asked if they would return and complete the inspection. They said the crawl space area was not accessible during the inspection. (seemed like an excuse to me not to go back out and re-check on it for me.)
So sense they didn't want to go back out seemingly. I go back out with my realtor and open the access point right under the hot tub and look up and see that most of the sub floor including some joists will need replacement.
So I feel I was ripped off, and if I never went back out to the property and did my own inspections this would have never been found and I would have been out thousands of dollars because the person I hired to inspect missed the only costly and one of the most obvious probable problems with the property.
I would like at least a partial refund in order to feel I was "taken care of".
Booking the inspection was a very easy and seamless process. I’ve had experience with Jerry’s inspections in the past and I know that he is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and thorough. I absolutely trust him and his team with any home inspection service that I need.
