The walk in service was accommodated. The staff member on site was professional, friendly, had a can-do approach and knowledgeable. The need I had was handled quickly and efficiently. The location is an asset for me- great to not have to drive from Plainview to Brands! Nice having Trek right in the neighborhood.

I was looking for a new mountain bike for my son, I never owned a Trek before but heard they were a good quality bicycle. My son and I went to the Trek store located in Plainview. The Trek employee named Jason (I don’t know his last name) was very helpful and went above and beyond to help my son get the right bike. After viewing and test riding a couple different bikes we narrowed down our selection to a Marlin 5. We still needed to think about it and wanted to visit another bicycle shop so we could confirm our decision. We went to Brands cyclery and they had the same bike for the same price. But I felt Jason spent some time with us and seemed to genuinely care about giving us a lot of information and knowledge about the bike and the only reason I made the purchase there. A few days later I returned without my son to purchase the bike to discover it was no longer on the showroom floor. Jason informed us they had another bike which was not built yet but would get it ready for me so I could return with my son after his track practice. As promised Jason had the bicycle ready to go. He adjusted the bike for my son and my son loves the bike. The whole process was a great experience. And it was refreshing to see a young adult to be passionate about his job and showed my son how to treat people professionally and courteously. We are 100% satisfied with this purchase.
Nostalgic story, this trek store is in the same location where my dad purchased my first real bicycle for me. Williams cyclery was located in this store location over 40 years ago where I bought my first Redline MX2 BMX bike. I wish I still had that bike. I hope my son enjoys this Trek as much as I loved my Redline.
As far as referrals, I already referred a friend who is looking for a bike for herself to go see Jason.

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon. The friendly knowledgeable staff helped me tune, align, change break pads and a brake cable for my bike. Initially he said I should get my bike back by the weekend, latest on Tuesday. To my happy surprise, I got an email and text that my bike was ready for pick up on Thursday! Around 24 hrs turn around time. Everything cost around $133.
