This is a small and cozy (not cramped) location. The shower area could be a little less public, but otherwise it’s truly wonderful. Best of all, this location still has its Life Fitness strength machines. Life Fitness machines are ergonomically superior, often by a huge margin, to their Matrix so-called “counterparts.” Take the Torso Rotation, for example. The Life Fitness Torso Rotation has chest pads that hold one’s chest and back in place, making it a safe and effective way to work one’s abs and obliques without risking a back injury. It is a very popular machine. Sadly, Planet Fitness has decided to replace them with the outright dangerous Rotary Torso by Matrix. The Rotary Torso ostensibly encourages a similar motion, but with no back support whatsoever. It’s a horrifically flawed design. Even cutting the weight you push way down, you could always twist your back into an injury. I have a spinal injury and have discussed both machines at length with my doctors. I’m truly puzzled as to why Rotary Torso (Matrix) exists and why it would replace a safer and more accessible machine in a gym that’s meant to be for everyone. Let’s keep this awesome PF accessible to people of all ages and abilities! If you can avoid switching to Matrix, please do. If you have any sway with Matrix, please implore them to drop the dangerous Rotary Torso and make Torso Rotations. Thanks!
Planet fitness were very nice and had a nice equipment. It was very relaxing. You had everything that I need. I left because I wasn’t doing what I was supposed to be doing and I’m was spending money when I wasn’t using the gym.
I appreciate the attention to detail in maintaining a clean and organized gym environment at Planet Fitness 🏋️♀️, and the staff were helpful and professional 😊. Plus, the membership rates are a great value 💸!
