Grat place and J.C. is your best asset. You should make him a trainer for your staff members across the country. Always interested in members feeling welcome and greeted nicely and also makes sure to wish members a great day. The place is always spotless; it's like J.C. is the owner and you can buy that kind of work ethic. I think he is underutilized.
Also, i would somehow discourse smart phone on the gym floor. Maybe provider charging lockers? I wait for machines because folks are on their phones instead of doing reps. Members don't sit on lounge chairs; they sit on the machine. I have a short window to work out to get back to work the phone use slows me down
The Ardmore Planet Fitness is much improved in the last couple months- I think heard under new ownership ( or manager?). It is way cleaner, the cleanliness is maintained, and the front desk is friendlier and more interactive. There are even smiles around from the staff. When there is something broken, it seems to get acted on, and the tvs are the best they have been in couple years ( although still no sound from those labeled 2).
Cheap, clean, friendly front desk staff, has all of the equipment you need. One piece of constructive feedback: PF should create more floor space for people to do floor exercises by condensing the 30 minute circuit workout area (no one uses those steps with the handles) and removing some of the incline ab benches in the back of the gym.
