Trying to get in shape in your 50’s can be such a daunting task. Your Centereach staff has been wonderful with helping me set my weekly routine. I am greeted every time that I enter the gym and I am always given a good night whenever I leave (usually by Luke at the front desk). The biggest bonus that made this transition even easier for me is your personal trainer Andrew. Being nervous at our initial consultation, all fears and any anxiety about my current physical state were quickly washed away when Andrew showed that he truly wanted to help me along on my fitness journey. As an educator, I found Andrew not only to be very knowledgeable about my weekly workout plan but even knowledgeable when asked various nutritional questions( with an understanding given that he was not a dietitian or nutritionist but spoke in regards to his nutritional successes as well as those of his family members). Your Centereach staff truly live up to your motto that Planet Fitness is truly a judgement free zone!

The gym is very large and open, there is plenty of equipment, the staff is very friendly and it is very clean. I am very happy with the gym but I do have a few minor nit picks. Some benches are missing the screw on knobs for adjusting making it difficult to use. And the filter to the bottle filler seems to take days to replace when needed. These are very minor complaints on an overall very positive gym experience. I use the centereach location in ny. Thanks

I’ve been to a few locations but this is the one I always feel most comfortable at. I really like the layout and how large it is because I get really nervous working out in front of others but this one is so packed with such a variety of machines that its a lot easier to blend in.
