What I like about Planet Fitness in Champaign, Illinois are the employees and the service they provide. They greet you when you arrive and they pay attention to you and sincerely state a friendly, "Have a nice day!" when you depart. They make you feel like you are "family." In addition, they are always visible doing something, especially cleaning which makes one feel safe that germs are being taking care of. Also, Planet Fitness meets all the needs of different cultures, too. People are congeal with one another. Moreover, one can feel comfortable if you are a beginner or if you have been working on your physical fitness for a long time; everyone has their own goals to meet for better health and fitness. Definitely the "new" facility on Market Street. The former location was abysmal: darkly lit, cold showers, broken water fountain, the list went on and on. The new place is, bright, big, everything still works, and very clean. I did shop around, and it's shocking how bad some of your competitors' facilities are for twice or thrice the price!!!

I used to be a member of the old location in Champaign of planet fitness, and it was always crowded and not very clean and I was also a member of planet fitness in Urbana, and it really was always full as well, so I have a really good experience since I signed up at this new. Location in Champaign, staff is friendly. There's always plenty of equipment. And it's clean

Out of all the gyms I’ve been to—including Planet Fitness locations in Urbana and Bloomington, my hometown gym, and Crunch Fitness—Planet Fitness in Champaign stands head and shoulders above the rest. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you with warmth, energy, and genuine friendliness. Many of them know me by name, which makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. It’s rare to find that kind of connection in a gym setting. The facility itself is immaculate. You’d think no one works out there based on how spotless and well-maintained everything is—but that’s far from the truth. The gym is thriving with members, yet it never feels overcrowded. Equipment is always available, and I’ve never had trouble getting a turn. Honestly, if it weren’t for the Champaign Planet Fitness, I don’t think I would’ve stuck with my fitness journey. The environment, the people, and the overall vibe have been instrumental in helping me reach my goals. Everyone here deserves a raise. They’re doing something truly special.
