Decent gym, good hours, lower prices. What it lacks it makes up mostly in price. It doesn't have the nicest equipment, it lacks a larger space for things like moving tires, calisthenics, ropes, etc. No pool, basketball court, etc. However - it's cheaper and has parking and has hours.
Staff is pleasant and helpful. Locker room is clean and well managed.
I would like to see more patrons cleaning the equipment after use. Could that be enforced?
I like the community. Nobody has been rude to me- only helpful and cordial. I wish there was more space to lay down mats, a lot of people seems to do it stretch and do floor/dumbell exercises but even three people is cramped. However I have no layout solutions as I like that you can do a full workout in that little corner with the cable machine and pullup machine. I like that the treadmills face the windows and provide some natural light during for an activity that can easily feel time consuming and monotonous. I like that the lockerooms and bathrooms are very clean, women’s at least. I once saw a machine out of order one day and the next day it was in order, that was impressive. I like that the spray bottles and paper towel dispensers are always full. I could do without the music personally, but I understand its value in making a shared space less awkward. Thank you planet fitness on foster staff!!
convenience and mostly friendly staff
a suggestion-have a knowledgeable person walking around to make sure people are using the machines correctly (I know there is a QR code, but in person is always better)
The staff is very friendly, approachable and always welcoming. I also appreciate the cleanliness. However, I am a little annoyed about the teens free summer weeks. I think it’s a great thing but not fair to us customers who are paying and are there to workout and can never find machines available. Especially when they’re just lounging around. Thank you
The machines are easy to access and understand how to operate them. I felt a good workout. I was sweating. I love the hydro massage afterwards! It relieves me of some of that cortisol. I do wish the front desk had been more accommodating to tme though. He was a good gatekeeper from letting me use it although I have a membership that is inclusive. No one should have to feel on the outside. I had my walker with me and yet his mind just didn’t go there to help me. I had to ask. That’s the difference between good and great.
