No judgement type of environment. I do think that the staff should have been out on the floor more instead of having conversations behind the front desk. Everyone in a gym setting, weather they be new or regulars, need the motivation and words of encouragement to feel comfortable and confident. Strike up a conversation and get to know the clientele base of who attends. I also noticed the staff had zero situational awareness. That is something that needs to be taught and learned! The women’s bathrooms felt like a sauna. I am not sure if that is on purpose or not, but it was not a welcoming and winding down environment. I plan on checking out the rest of the black card amenities later this week.
So far so good. Many cardio machines and most are fully functional. Great rules to wipe down machines and several stations with spray and paper towels. Lots of cable machines and minimal free weights and dumbbells. More suited for the non-iron heads or body builders.
This is my first time joining the gym and I love the workers they make me feel welcome and everyone else is just working out no looking around or judging
