I actually have referred friends to Planet Fitness. I really enjoy the fact that you can go in any time you want to work out. The staff is friendly, the other patrons are typically friendly and both are willing to show you how to use the equipment. They are always cleaning so I have no worries about that. I guess my complaints would be that some people sit on the equipment scrolling through their phones instead of using the equipment and getting off so someone else can use it. And even though there are signs up, people still have loud conversations on their phones where everyone else can hear it. But I really enjoy the gym and you can't beat the price and availability.

I use the Fort Wayne Northeast location. I looked at the New Haven site, but is is crowded, low ceilings, and the music is too loud. Northeast is more open and the music is not loud. Now that Northeast is open 24-7, I have been there about two times a week regaining the strength I lost during 8 months when it closed at 10pm. The vinyl upholstery on some equipment is splitting and needs to be replaced soon. The pads on some equipment, leg curl, leg extension, back extension needs to be replaced as it has collapsed somewhat. When something has an "out of order" tag placed on it, it is not repaired in a timely manner. The rotary torso machine has been tagged for two weeks now. Two years ago I couldn't use the pec fly/rear deltoid machine for almost a month.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. The gym is usually clean. Great variety of work out equipment. I hope we get more adjustable benches! Sometimes waiting for one takes awhile at peak hours. I suppose that's to be expected some times though! Thanks for everything that you do PF staff!
