It is close to mu house. Staff is friendly. The gym is clean. If there is an issue with equipment staff notates it and will have maintenance handle it.
I recently went back to this location to workout with friends after moving to New Lenox four years ago. It was instant nostalgia, as this was the location that helped me lose over 100 pounds years back. Going back didn’t disappoint. What I believe was the assistant manager or manager (male), and another female employee, were incredibly friendly and personable. They maintained great conversation and banter with all guests, and were actively involved. I also forgot how insanely clean this location is. The entire gym is spotless. Lastly, it was in the 90s on the day I visited, and the AC was a perfectly cool temperature, perfect for working out.
I’m not one to usually write reviews, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due, especially when employees go above and beyond. This gym did just that.
It's not too crowded. If I had one complaint it would be to ask people not to sit on their phones when there is someone waiting to use a specific piece of equipment. So many times people will do a set and then sit for the longest time on their phone before continuing their 2nd set. Also, I'm hoping I don't walk into the women's bathroom and see a male who has transitioned to a female. I would honestly discontinue my membership at that time.
