I was with Gold’s Gym on 4th between Pine & Long Beach Blvd when I first moved to LB. It was small and the folks were friendly. Then they built the one over at the Pike and it felt like an influencer gym. My partner and I felt alienated, disrespected and unwelcome. Planet Fitness is the total opposite. It really feels like a judgment free zone and that atmosphere is intentional. Thanks y’all.

I like the spaciousness of the facility and the variety of the available equipment. However the odor when you enter the facility is not very in inviting it smells like old sneakers. I'd suggest some kind of commercial air sanitizer or fragrance to be circulating via the air vents perhaps a spa scent something light. Otherwise I have no other issues.
