The night crew Angel and a Black young man are professional, attentive and accommodating. I work out between 12am-4am because the club is empty. The young members always try to bully and intimidate senior citizens like me by not wanting to share machines during day hours. They sit on their phones and ignore you, or bark that they are on the machine, even though they are browsing their phones. They become aggressive. I’ve asked the staff to talk to the members, and they help sometimes.
I'm working in the morning around 5 am. It's very good. There are few people. The area is very safe area and the environment is hostile to the workers.
Trainer Nicholas was very patient with customizing a plan for arm and leg strengthening as requested by my doctor.
Front desk personnel are always pleasant.
The manager of our gym, Kevin, runs the place most efficiently and I genuinely appreciate the professional assistance of trainer Nicholas.
Also, love the colors and the equipment.
I was with Gold’s Gym on 4th between Pine & Long Beach Blvd when I first moved to LB. It was small and the folks were friendly. Then they built the one over at the Pike and it felt like an influencer gym. My partner and I felt alienated, disrespected and unwelcome.
Planet Fitness is the total opposite. It really feels like a judgment free zone and that atmosphere is intentional. Thanks y’all.
