There are too many cell phone zombies taking up space in the gym at Planet Fitness. Thewy are sitting on the equipment for often ten or fifteen minutes at a time -- just texting, tick toking, on instagram, on facebook, watching movies, etc... They can become rather unpleasant when you ask them to move so that you can use the machine or other equipment. Could you please send a message over your loudspeaker every hour or two. Something simple, like the following, might work: "Please do not use your cell phone while you are sitting on or using a workout machine for more than a minute or two. After that amount of time, please vacate the machine immediately. Also, please do not "claim" a machine that you are not already using. If you are not on the machine or workout station, you have no claim to that machine. Likewise, if you are using one machine, you have no claim to any other machine. Thank you for being considerate to the other members of Planet Fitness."
