Planet Fitness East Capitol has been a great location overall for me for almost a decade. I always get to know the staff new or old and have a wonderful time establishing the relationship with them as a member. The new location Manager Gabe who initially started as a team member had preformed excellent and asserted every expectation in his role. The staff are friendly and attentive to members needs and are great people overall. I would definitely recommend the East Capitol location to family and friends. A suggestion that I would make as a long term member is that this location be kept with and provided the same up to date equipment and amenities that exist and I have seen at other locations such as downtown and West Capitol. Being a long standing member I have noticed a trend in this and it is a bit of a concern the amount of time it takes to upgrade these amenities between clubs, especially since some of those clubs are located in alternate areas and/or have not been in existence as long as East Capitol. If as a member my feedback is truly valued then I must be candid about those concerns. Also, I feel it would be a good idea when bringing in new equipment that a survey from the members prior to that be taken. The survey could either list the potential options available for new equipment and/or take the opinions of the equipment members would like to have while voicing there opinions on the existing equipment since we are the individuals who use the equipment on a consistent basis. While the arrangement could be unique to every location like some of the available cardio and strength equipment, the club managers if they already do not, I believe should have some input on this as well as they are familiar with their locations and to some degree the likes and dislikes of their members as well as the frequency in which the equipment is used. This is my two pennies of feedback. Hope it offers some genuine help and insight.
