I never have to wait for a machine. It does irritate me to see people sitting on machines visiting while someone wants the machine. See it often in the circuit. There is a nice little lounge area for visiting. These days it is very important to wipe the machines after use. And pick up after yourself to help out the employees.
Convenient location. Good options when it comes to equipment. Nice black card benefit that my spouse shares with me when we go together. The Silver Sneakers deal! Yay. The facility is never too crowded.
A couple constructive suggestions first - upkeep, repairs. Moorhead Pl F. One of the towel dispensers in men's locker room - hung with only one screw. It swings from time to time and should not. The bikes where one sits with legs in front of them (versus down) - the machines must have batteries in them - the batteries are going out on some of them. Some of those bikes don't detect a pulse and they should. Pegs holding the floor mats - holes in the wall from prior mountings - so these have not and are not installed optimally. This Planet Fitness could use a more experienced and smart maintenance person.
As for positives - all else is good. Kaliya (spelling?) is great. The center has everything I need. I can exercise all the parts of my body that I want to exercise.
Everything--the gym is laid back, it's not overcrowded during the times I go. I can (usually) get a machine I want. The members are typically hygenic and wipe down after they work out. The employees are always friendly and helpful, whether that's asking about an exercise plan or just general questions about the facility. They're always cleaning as well.
Coming back from a stroke and heart failure has been hard work and I’ve been doing at planet fitness. The results are amazing thank and especially the manager gal in Moorhead.
