I came to Planet Fitness yesterday, May 15 as KM’s guest. I assisted him with transferring from his wheelchair and stretching and strengthening. The way all of the staff and patrons acknowledge and support him, amaze me! I’ve worked with stroke survivors for many years and the Planet Fitness environment is better than any PT clinic in our area. He’s motivated to come, even though he cannot walk, struggles with self care and is completely dependent upon others for transportation, he consistently shows up at 7:30 am! The encouraging support and results are giving him the confidence to continue his battle to walk again.
