Cleaner than other gyms, there's a consistent culture of wiping equipment down after use, andthere's never a crowd on ellipticals or treadmills when I go during the day midweek or before 10 on weekends.
There are a lot of cardio machines such is what I need right now. The meter that tells my how busy the gym is at any given time is super helpful for someone like me that doesn't do well in really crowded spaces.
Convenient and i appreciate that it is not intimidating (there aren’t a lot of gym types showing off their prowess and there are lots of regular normies like me just trying to keep moving.)
I didn’t make it up there. I have a friend who goes there and I knew it would be a good vibe. My some died and we just can’t get up there yet. We will try again in winter. When I called to find out about cancellation, Justin was SUPER kind and helpful. Thank you, Justin <3
Good: 24 hour access, machines grouped in a somewhat logical order, a wide variety of machines, several types of machines to do the same workout accomodates different body types and needs (Example: there are 3 or 4 different stomach crunch machines). Staff always friendly and professional. Weightlifting crowd not 'aggressive', not the main focus of the location. Bad: Do not accept my Premera Medicare part G program!! Seriously!? So I turned 65 and had to move to LA Fitness across the street because they do. It is free free for me, so of course I switched. Your weekends not are 24 hours. Good about LA Fitness: Free with Premera Medicare pat G. Bad about LA Fitness: NO 24 hours, less variety of machines I use, I don't care about swimming, longer wait for machines.
