Front desk was very perky! I loved it. The establishment was clean! But the mats for stretching were very dirty even after wiping so I didn’t use them.
The population and clientele are not over privileged in their habits and do not hog machines routinely, Another very popular PF has a clientele that gets on the machine and sits on their phone endlessly. I think there should be signs that these are no phone zones and people can sit in the lobby and take and make calls at their leisure. People want to work out not watch someone sit on their phone and tie up machines.
There is a culture of wiping off machines at Northridge that I love. I see 99% of people wiping down machines before and after. If the culture of the clientele is age or ethnicity there is nothing you can really do about encouraging membership.
The staff at Northridge is not particularly engaged or overly friendly but they are visible and seem to be doing their job. I really appreciated the staff in Granada Hills PF because they seemed to tale the time to get to know their customers. However there is a frequent turn over in staff in Granada Hills that I did not experience in Northridge.
