it's large, has a lot of equipment, and is very well maintained -- the team there is constantly cleaning machines, even cleaning underneath them. the staff is very friendly, especially RYAN. ryan is honestly a real asset to the gym -- always smiling and welcoming -- i've seen him stop by to encourage regular members in their workouts more than once, which makes everyone in the gym feel great.

I've been to about 15 Planet Fitness locations around the country. Each one is different. But the Portsmouth location is the best I've been to. The variety and duplication of some of the equipment were appreciated. Also, the cleanliness of the gym met my expectations.
