Brittiana (sp?) the desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Positive and a good listener. She made my first experience there a pleasure. What I didn't like was that I didn't see anyone wipe anything down in the Spa room and it was kinds of gross to see and think about all the sweaty people using the massage table and chairs and not cleaning them. I think it would be a great idea to have suggest at the end of the screen on the massage table, to please spray wipe down the table/chair, and with the massage chairs maybe a sign. Besides that, the gum was fairly busy and smelled of sweat. Maybe some type of air freshener/sanitizer pumped into the atmosphere like they do in Vegas would help. I mention it because this gym smelled worse than any PF I've been to.

Friendly staff and they were out on the floor cleaning the equipment. Which is huge in my opinion. Pluss refilling the spray bottles and dispensers for paper towels.

You can get in and out quickly - except for the people who find a machine with a seat and text or do emails for 10 minutes - with ear phones in. You stand next to them - they they start their next reps after 10 minutes.

I love planet fitness in Portsmouth. It is always very clean and the people that work there are so nice. I at times don't like how crowded it is and how some people take up machines sitting thereon their phones doing nothing, cause me to not be able to get to my machine, but that is nothing to do with Planet Fitness or their employees. I think they do a great job.

Please try and get two of every machine, in the major workout area. Having only one curl machine doesn't cut it! There is always a bottle neck on these only one machines! And people are oblivious to sharing or sharing when they're looking at their phone for 10 minutes in between sets! Need two!!!

The stores are of various quality. I am a black card member who uses PF in numerous states and am surprised by how different each gym is from super clean w the latest machines to stores that are dated and dirty.
