I enjoy the variety of equipment, and the ability to check on how busy the gym might be when I decide to go. The staff, since I joined has become much friendlier and interactive. It starts my workout in a positive way when I am welcomed with a smile or even hello. In the past it was defeating see the staff members leaning back on the counter and looking at their cell phones instead of engaging with members as they arrive or leave. The gym, equipment and restrooms are kept very cleaned and supplies are constantly being replenished. I do wish that classes were an offering, but with the very reasonable monthly cost of being a member, I do understand the overhead that comes with that, so I'm fine to watch the Planet Fitness videos on the App at home if I'm looking to take a class. I have been away from my membership on and off this year due to 2 hip replacements; and have started to resume. It feels good to be able to do what I can each visit, with "no judgement". Thank you for all you do!

Allowing cell phones in the gym is probably the worst thing Planet Fitness has done! This has been said many times, yet nothing is done about the continuous holding up of the equipment due to those who are inconsiderate and playing on their cell phones! Placing a reminder on the tv does no good and no one most likely ever looks at it anyway! I never received a response from the last survey. What is the problem there is never anything done to eliminate the cell phone issue? Numerous others are upset about the same issue! It's not a member's responsibility to report someone or to say anything to someone who is guilty! We should be able to visit the gym without this issue. Someone needs to patrol the gym to eliminate the problem!

My boyfriend and I attend planet fitness in Pottsgrove,Pa. Our day-to-day experience is outstanding in large part to the staff, especially a very detail and customer-service oriented employee named “Shrek”. My boyfriend actually belonged to anytime fitness for years and changed gyms as a result of Shreks welcoming and upbeat attitude. We both believe he (Shrek) is an ideal ambassador of the gym and deserves recognition for his contribution to the brand and Planet Fitness Pottsgrove as a whole. The facility is clean and upbeat, the staff runs a tight ship, and is attentive to guests needs. We see ourselves at Planet Fitness for a long time as long as Shrek and gang are doing such a great job. We hope our review is helpful, thanks!
