Very friendly, helpful (but not intrusive) staff. Clean environment. Good selection of equipment. Really is a "no judgement zone" to the members. I feel very comfortable, even though I have not been a gym-goer in the past.
The place is fairly clean in spite of people not cleaning after themselves. The locker room doesn’t smell and is clean. It is a little outdated and some rust is exposed. The paper tower dispensers are not always full. The cleaning solution bottles are often empty. The main concern is that people don’t use the machines properly and sometimes put their feet on the parts where you sit or where your head is supposed to go. And they do not clean after themselves. The workers are often chatting amongst themselves or patrons and never say anything to those people. Also, some people just sit at a machine while they talk to their friends and not use the equipment. Employees should monitor this behavior and address the issue. I’ve witnessed people grunt very loudly and drop weights loudly and nothing was said to those individuals. People come here to relieve stress among other reasons and do not need that added stress. Thanks.
Ps if employed walked around and instructed patrons on how to use equipment it would be great. Also while they walk around if they can greet patrons and ask them if they have specific needs. Such as what do you want to improve? And give suggestions.
