The last time I replied to this request, the manage said there were other facilities I could go to, I hope that does not happen this time!
We just returned from a 6 week vacation. We went to several Planet Fitness locations during that time.
In none of the locations did the person at the front desk pick up the scanner to read our membership information.
We always felt more than welcome with the individual easily engaging us and having a real dialog with us.
I went to our local facility yesterday and the person at the front desk had to pick up the scanner to read my code. I know from experience, that the scanner does work even if it is just sitting on the counter.
It makes me feel like there is something wrong with me and that I am not capable of using the scanner on my own when I go here.
I was told that it is "policy" for your staff to do this.
Please consider changing tha policy.
