The silver sneakers program has helped me improve my health, gain new friends and wake up with a purpose in my retirement. I pay out of pocket, my insurance doesn’t cover it like others. I do feel our space is ignored with old, dirty, wobbly chairs, old equipment, cobwebs that never get cleaned. Some of the purple chairs even have huge mold spots underneath the seat! Air conditioning and de-humidifier aren’t working adequately most mornings. The staff and instructors are all great to interact with. I just feel we are very underserved by the facility's conditions.

Plant City YMCA, Shelby and her team made the whole process of registering and attending camp easy and painless. Everyone was friendly, and even my timid little one was a lot less nervous, because the team supported his needs. The option of half day for the first week was perfect to ease him into the schedule and expectations of attending camp at the facility. By the time he went to a full day camp, he did great. We will 100% be back next year.

I think the instructors are wonderful. they are very kind and will help with any concern you may have. also the members are great. Ryan and Teresa are good at their jobs, and Clayton is very nice to all.

We had a phenomenal experience with Mr. Mark! He was so patient, kind, and caring when it came to teaching my son how to swim. He took his time, didn’t rush, and helped me learn how to keep helping my son with swimming moving forward.

Everyone working for the Y that I came into contact with was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Ms. Lilly the swimming instructor was so patient and understanding with my grandson Joseph that it always made my morning. Ms. Lilly gets my gold star.

Our family has had an amazing experience with the YMCA Teen Basketball program! It provides a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where teens can develop their basketball skills while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. The coaches genuinely care about the kids and do a great job of helping every player improve, regardless of their skill level.
