Kim Teodori's class is unique in the great selection of yoga courses offered at Prairie Yoga. Her gentle approach & skill with healing 'singing bowls' along with meditative words and 'soft' yoga poses makes it the perfect way to unwind during a hectic, stressful week. Have recommended it to friends and they love it too. Feeling lucky to have found this special class. So healing & rejuvenating.
The warmth and vital spirit of yoga is palpable. I've been so impressed and excited about how poses that would be difficult for me now (age 70) are presented and modified so that I can do them and receive the full benefit of each asana at my level!! Trust, mutual support, and light-heartedness - wonderful!
Prairie Yoga's classes are amazing. All the teachers are seasoned yogis who have so much to teach and share. It's wonderful that there are many different levels and styles of yoga being taught. Every class is a treasure and a gem!
Thank you Prairie for being an amazing community of diverse yogis!
The two studios are very nice and well equipped environments. The climate control and ceiling fans also help to easily regulate temperature and air movement on demand which creates a comfortable environment to practice in.
The teachers I have taken classes with have been knowledgeable, create useable adaptations and a safe experience. They have open to questions and discussion of topics.
If I had an inquiry into a workshop or teacher I feel I have gotten positive guidance in how to determine for myself if a class or person would make a good fit for myself .
Parking has been plentiful .
I attended 2 classes on Fri. It was great. First , Rachel Townsend is my daughter - n- law so..........; now ignoring that fact. The class was different than what I normally do. I enjoyed my class and learned new things. Her suggestions were well done and kind. I am glad that I tried something different. I feel very welcomed at Prairie.
