Went to the Honda dealership first, and was greeted by men in collard shirts in a clean environment—they said they don’t take anything after 2pm, so I drove here and someone was able to help me immediately, took my car in and diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and a few days later it was good as new. That’s the difference. One team was clean and put together but couldn’t help me, and the other wasn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and get the job done. I was out of town and my check engine light came on. I contacted the local Hyundai service department and they could not help me the next day. I contacted my local Precision Tune, that I've used for years, and asked them what I should do. They suggested I go to the closest Precision Tune for service.
I contacted the closest Precision Tune and after discussing my predicament, I was told to come in at the start of the next day.
They knew my situation and did not take advantage of this. I knew the code and it could have been a really expensive or easy fix. It was the easy fix and they had me back on the road quickly.
Not only was the customer waiting room clean, the personnel were great and I always feel like I can trust their diagnosis, unlike dealership service departments.
Great staff. Explained everything in a way I understood it. Even made a video of under my car and showed me the buildup of grease. The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable.
I came in for an oil leak and needed an oil change. They were able to show me exactly where it's leaking from and changed my oil. I appreciate the time they took to make sure everything was in working order.
