I only went there because it was only thing open on Sat afternoon. They "tested" my AC system and said they refilled it to the proper level. "If it leaks down we will now be able to see where it leaks by the dye that will leak out". It went down within 3 days. I took it to a local shop, that said, looks like it is low, but we can't see any dye showing anywhere. 2nd Shop filled up the Freon to the proper level and put in dye. It never leaked at all, because there was nothing wrong with it. Your shop appeared to not fill it enough to even see if there was a leak. It turned off again as would be expected. The unit has been working without problem for a few months. Long story short. If your shop had just refilled correctly the first time, there would have been no more visits anywhere, but then, they would have not been able to change parts on that second visit either. By the way, the 2nd shop did not even charge me to top off Freon, and put in dye, even though I told him I needed to pay him for it. Where do you think I'll be going the next time I need a repair??
