We have enjoyed our experience at Primrose so far. Our 2 year old has been going to Primrose at Hope Valley Farms for 6 months so far and everyone there knows his name. He also feels comfortable enough to greet all of the staff and leave mama at drop off without needing to say goodbye (sad face for mom). Communication is open with the staff and we receive quick responses. I enjoy they they update parents with daily activities, share photos, and identify what milestones our son has reached. We love it!
Communication has been great and we love how everyone there knows our son (regardless of if they are his direct teachers or not). The staff is kind and informative about what happens in the classroom.
Would love for the babies to go outside a bit more, but otherwise we're very satisfied with the care at Primrose. The teachers are happy and loving and we feel like our baby is well cared for.
The staff is very friendly. We like how much our kids have learned while at Primrose. All of the teachers have done a great job with our kids. The Pre-K class has given Faith great experiences with the field trips. Outstanding school
We’ve had to kids at Primrose for roughly a year and a half. The stuff work make sure we’re informed every step of our child’s day to day activities and take time, give each child the care they need. The school is well organized and very clean. I
I love the way the school creates community based in respect, the kids bloom into a better version of themselves, exploring their skills and learn while they are having fun, being exercising, building, discovering or through creativity, they are always learning. Other thing that let you know how they create community is when the kids meet outside of school and they immediately start playing and laughing. There is nothing better than see your kids happy when they are going to school
My son is very happy at Primrose. We enjoy the energy and approach to children's learning. They also often hold community events, which we greatly enjoy!
We really appreciate how the organization pays attention to every detail to improve children’s education while staying true to their values. It’s clear to see how the kids grow up happy, independent, and caring. It is so organized and a place that we deeply trust.
We love Primrose at Hope Valley Farms! The teachers are fantastic. We have never had a concern or issue with classroom cleanliness or staff attitude. The classroom has never had to close due to lack of staffing (since we started October 2022). There is normal turnover, but I feel that the directors do their best to maintain consistent teachers in classrooms and are good about informing parents of staff changes. My child doesn't always love to go to daycare (which is normal for toddlers and young children), but always reports at the end of the day that it was fun. Primrose is also great about teaching pre-academic skills. This was not a primary reason we chose Primrose, but is a huge bonus as our child is always impressing us with new skills, letter/number identification, music/songs, and other content that is learned while at school. We initially chose Primrose because of the nice classrooms. We had toured a couple other facilities in the area and did not like the idea of the "open concept" daycare classroom as the noise levels can get really high in shared spaces. But with Primrose each class has their own classroom with a shared bathroom between rooms. The classrooms are very nicely sized with big windows and plenty of centers/activities/toys for children to rotate through. Finally, the outdoor space is great as well with several different playgrounds appropriate for the various ages. A final bonus, is that children can partake in Soccer Shots program during the daycare day (for an additional fee). We have not taken advantage of this but can see how it can be big bonus and convenient for busy families. We love Primrose and recommend this Durham location to everyone we know!
