As a parent, I’ve been very happy with the school experience my child has had at this daycare. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly attentive to each child’s needs. My child feels safe, loved, and excited to go to school each day. I’ve seen great growth in their confidence, social skills, and love for learning, and I appreciate the open communication and supportive environment the staff provides.

I really appreciate the strong communication with the teachers in my child’s new classroom. They consistently share updates at the end of each day about how things went, highlighting both positive moments and areas where he is still learning and growing. That helps me feel connected and reassured he's transitioned well to his new room. The office leadership’s involvement and responsiveness make the overall experience feel organized and supportive. In addition, the office staff often go the extra mile to show their appreciation to families, which makes us feel valued.

We have absolutely loved our experience with Primrose! From the quality of the teaching, the dedication of the instructors, the cleanliness and care they take in the facility. All three of our children attend Primrose and we could not be happier with our experience and could not recommend it more!

The teachers love the children as if they're their own. We love the Explorer room staff and the kindness everyone at this daycare seems to possess. I am grateful for feeling that my child is in safe and capable hands when I'm away at work. I don't foresee or could imagine us going anywhere else.

Primrose has been an incredible experience. From the staff to the facilities to the activities provided, I could not imagine a more positive experience for my daughter, and the communication is easy to and efficient so that we're always kept up to date with what is going on and what to expect!

We couldn’t be happier with Primrose. Knowing that our child is safe, cared for, and truly seen brings us so much peace of mind. The well-rounded curriculum—from academics to social and behavioral development—has helped our child grow in so many ways. It’s not just about learning facts; it’s about becoming a kind, curious, and confident child. We see it in the way they treat our child with genuine respect and affection, in their open and honest communication, and in the way they let kids be kids. With fun activities, exciting trips, and family events that make school a place our child loves to go to every day. The staff lead with love, respect, and integrity, and it shows in everything they do.

After an excessive search for a daycare provider, we finally found the perfect fit. Choosing Primrose School of Ankeny at Prairie Trail was hands-down the easiest (and best) decision we’ve made as parents. We immediately felt an overwhelming sense of warmth, care, and professionalism from all staff members, from the owners to the teachers and everyone in between. Although we were initially unsure about enrolling in a franchise, our hesitations were instantly put at ease by all of the staff at Primrose. The team knows our family by name, is attentive to our child’s specific personality, and guides his learning based on his individual strengths. The environment is inviting, nurturing, and so clearly constructed with children and families in mind while the curriculum is truly developmentally appropriate - thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, engage in exploration, and support stages of growth. We say this with confidence as our youngest has been at Primrose since he was 16 weeks old and he is now entering Kindergarten; we only wish Primrose also had grades K-5. Primrose has been more than we ever hoped for and we’re incredibly thankful to have found them.
