Gavin absolutely loves coming to Primrose every day! We are so thrilled with his teachers, the administrative staff, and the care and love that he gets at daycare. It's also clear that the team has been working hard to address staff turnover and past communication issues. Thank you!
My child is truly thriving on the curriculum. It is so structured and tailored for every age group. She is excited to go to school and to tell me all she did. They cover writing, art, math, music, movement, science, and more. If you want your child to be ready for kindergarten you need to send them to PSOE.
What I loved most about my Primrose School experience was the sense of genuine care and connection. The teachers didn’t just teach, they nurtured, supported, and truly saw my daughter as an individual. I appreciated the structure, the communication directly with the teacher, and the way the environment felt both safe and encouraging. I’m grateful for the relationships built, the memories made, and the heart that the staff put into every single day.
The school seems well managed and safe. My child seems to be being taught great things for her age by people who care and genuinely like being around children. My child is often thrilled to see her teachers in the morning. We love the pictures so much. The front door is secure and we get regular updates (and pictures!) during the day. Primrose is pretty expensive but so is all childcare. Although the teacher turnaround seems erratic, that might just be the industry. Apparently every member of the staff is trained in CPR as well.
I feel that my child is safe and well taken care of at Primrose.
We love the quality of education at Primrose, and the sense of belongingness created by the teachers and staff. I love that my children are learning academically and learning how to be good humans in the world.
The staff is amazing! Chelsey is such a sweet and kindhearted person, who is deeply committed to ensuring the welfare of the children and staff, even parents - everything you’d want in a daycare owner. The administration is wonderful, always greeting parents with a warm and welcoming smile. The teachers are wonderful. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed and well-prepared to welcome children in for a day. There is constant thought being put into recognizing staff, recognizing special holidays, and inviting parents in to the classrooms for special events like parades and recognition of holidays. There is so much thought that goes into making the center better in whatever way possible. Chelsey, April, and staff are super receptive to feedback and try to implement any changes suggested. A few things that stand out to me as well is on “working parents day,” Chelsey provided EACH family with take home bags with two pizzas, salad, and cookies so that parents didn’t have to plan out a dinner. It was the most thoughtful gesture. Miss Bri is one of the absolute sweetest people I’ve ever met, so loved by the children and makes an intentional effort to make a personal connection with every single person that walks in or out of the center. I am so thankful she is on staff. All of the teachers are thoughtfully curated and assigned to classrooms. They are warm, welcoming, and qualified caregivers. It is so nice to know my children are in the best hands when they can’t be with me. I am so grateful for Primrose School of Exeter, under Chelsey and April’s leadership. There is no better place for kids! :)
Staff and administration are very friendly and helpful. My daughter had a nearly seamless transition to Preschool and I am grateful for that. My daughter loves Ms. Mariah, Ms. Tess, and Ms. Shannon. She is learning so much!
I've had a wonderful experience with Primrose School. The curriculum is well-structured and supports my child’s development in all the right ways. I really appreciate the nutritious meals provided—it’s one less thing to worry about, and I know my child is eating well.
Safety is clearly a top priority at this school, which gives me peace of mind every day. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely care for my son. I can tell he feels happy and supported there.
One of my favorite things is the daily updates and photos—they make me feel connected to my child’s day and reassure me that he’s in a loving and engaging environment. The activities are age-appropriate and thoughtfully planned to support his growth.
I’m truly grateful for the care and quality Primrose provides!
structured approach to activities and learning. Clear and documented rules and expectations. I like that they do activities and work to nurture relationships with the kids, parents and the community.
The teachers seem to genuinely care about the children and their families. This creates a community feel and provides familiarity and comfort for the young students.
The staff are incredibly friendly and clearly dedicated to their work. Ms. Jill and Ms. Camryn go above and beyond for their dramatic play center to enhance the learning. It is absolutely incredible. Super clean and positive environment.
Primrose has been truly wonderful for our two children. The days begin and end with warm/friendly staff greetings. Our kids have benefitted from the quality teaching staff and the in-house meals and snacks provided there, which allows them to try new foods among peers. We transferred our kids to primrose from another local preschool 2 years ago and we remain very satisfied with that decision.
