Teachers really care about my kid. They ALL know his name throughout the building. Good food/menu. Curriculum is well-rounded and beyond my expectation. Love the routine of the schedule. Great communication from staff in the Procare app, when my kid gets hurt or has a new development, on expectations when my kid moves to another room, how to develop at home, and upcoming events.
I totally recommend Primrose of Long Grove. We have been there since the beginning of March 2025, and we have no words to describe how much our child has developing, how her behavior has been so much better, and the most important thing, how she is so happy to go to the school! BIG thank you for all those people who makes that a great place to be!
We are so happy with our decision and being part of the Primrose family. The staff is extremely friendly, warm, and nurturing. We know our child is in the best hands during the day when we are at work.
Our daughter loves the school and her teachers. As a parent we find the staff very friendly and polite. Teachers are very enthusiastic and engaging. They are good partners in raising kids. They work with parents on training kids with everything from hygiene habits/potty training to reading/writing skills.
We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Primrose! Every staff member is professional, kind, and you can tell they truly care about the wellbeing of their students. When it comes time for pick up at the end of the day, our son never wants to leave. We are lucky to have found Primrose!
All the teachers and staff are amazing! My little guy loves school and is excited every day. He learns so much and we are so happy we chose primrose.
My only advice is to stop issuing key fobs attached to key chains that say primrose. The security with a key fob lies within the mystery of what the fob opens. If someone finds the key fob after lost by a parent, they immediately know what door it opens and can use it at their leisure.
I know the key fobs look pretty, but they are a security risk.
It's a diverse and inclusive environment that has allowed my child to thrive. The staff are all amazing and the curriculum is wonderful. I feel safe leaving the most important person in my life in their care.
My children have learned so much since we became apart of the Primrose family. Their teachers have been absolutely amazing! I just only wish we had found Primrose much sooner.
The curriculum us great. The communication with the teachers and all staff is terrific. I never feel like I don't know what is going on and if I have a question, everyone is always extremely helpful
Primrose School is a top-notch school ranging from children as young as infants all the way to kindergarten. Their balanced learning curriculum, clean facilities, experienced staff, and love for children are just a few reasons Primrose is second to none for preschools!
Kids who attend Primrose are school ready both academically and socially. As a teacher mom myself, it’s evident that my daughter is learning the skills necessary to be successful in school. She’s not only learning. She is thriving!
Primrose values trust, safety, and security for each child. It’s not just a place I drop off my daughter, it’s a home that she loves to be a part of. We love our Primrose family!
My 2 year old has been in two schools over the last year, and the difference at primrose is so vast. One of the first things my husband said when we left the tour was how happy the students looked in each class!
One of our main reasons for choosing primrose was the staff/child ratio. They seem to over staff their classrooms, which also gave us comfort. After a couple months, the staff we see in his classroom everyday have been the same faces since day one, so we feel like he’s able to be really seen in class.
The teacher/parent communication has been prompt and consistent. He’s only there in the mornings, and they send 5+ detailed updates every day, so we can really talk about and reinforce what they’re working on at school with him.
The biggest thing that I have noticed is how CALM the teachers seem at pick up. This has to be the craziest time of day. At primrose, they have all of his stuff ready in his backpack so we never forget anything, and they don’t rush us out of the room. They really put an emphasis on saying goodbye/prepping my son for his next day at school.
Overall, it’s just been a really safe and accommodating school that seems to genuinely care about the students and parents beyond our enrollment fee.
