I truly appreciated the team at Primrose School of Lubbock South. The communication from the staff and teachers was very good! The curriculum is certainly challenging but achievable. The hours are great for working parents.
The field trips, class parties, school celebrations and PreK and kinder graduations really add that extra touch!
Small items for feedback would include more regular feedback from the students home room teachers outside of the twice a year parent teacher conferences. I was disappointed to see the kids take a “break” from the more intensive curriculum of PreK over the summer. If the kids are not engaging in more structured learning and activities, perhaps the tuition rate should be adjusted for the summer months. I’d love to see the school offer a few parents-night-out through the year (monthly or quarterly); you’re already a home we trust for our child and this is a great way to extend an extra to your families and your teachers who may want some additional hours.
We appreciate you all! Thank you for a great experience for our daughter!
Primrose offers a thoughtful and age-appropriate curriculum for kids from infancy to kindergarten. It really focuses on wholistic development of the child from gross motor skills, reading, and math to emotional development. As a full time working household, my husband and I appreciate the hours that the school offers and the great daily communications about what our child is learning and how her day is going. The field trips that our daughter has taken in Pre-K are awesome and I’m so thankful she could have those experiences! The school is always clean, and the staff are warm and welcoming! We have noticed lower turn over in staff here compared to other schools we have used in the past, and that is refreshing! We would love to see the school incorporate a parents night out once a quarter or even once a month, and perhaps develop a little further the weekly menu. But all-in-all, only great things to say!
We love Primrose and are so happy that we chose it for our child. She has blossomed there. My only suggestion would be better communication about teacher turnover - it would be nice if the parents were informed when someone leaves, especially as the kiddos get older and form attachments with their teachers.
Teachers and administrators are caring and attentive. The curriculum is structured so kids are always learning something new and fun. Snacks and lunches are healthy (no juice and candy ftw!).
Everything! Our children are learning and growing exponentially. The love, compassion, education, and the experience here at Primrose priceless. It's always difficult to entrust someone else with so much time with our children; however, Primrose has become family and we believe our children's best interests are being kept here. If only we could continue the journey beyond kindergarten.
We love Primrose! It's amazing to know your children are being cared for and safe! The teachers are genuine and pour so much into my boys! The office staff is great and love that they've been there since our day 1. We are staying for Kindergarten because we know their staff, atmosphere, curriculum is unmatched.
We love everything about Primrose. The curriculum, the experiences, the people, how much our children are loved and how well they are educated. Our children have benefited from this opportunity in priceless ways and we will forever be grateful, to God for blessing our children with the ability and opportunity to attend Primrose, but also for everyone from Primrose who everyday pours their hearts and souls into helping us mold and shape our children into who they were purposed to be. Thank you all for everything you do.
From the greetings every morning walking in to the “have a good day” every single day. It’s a great place and the quality of care and management that’s put into making the daycare run shows. I value the interactions from the teachers with my son. The way they know him, and all the school activities that are put together. Thank you!
There is structure and curriculum that the teachers follow. My son thrives there and I owe it all to his teachers. They are interactive and he participates in all the activities. It’s been amazing to watch him grow and learn.
All around great experience. The teachers/staff are very responsible, attentive, and caring. The curriculum is great prep for school. The facility is clean and safe.
Having my son at Primrose is such a privilege. The teachers are beyond amazing. They are so caring and engaging with their students. The facility is always clean and the staff always upholds the highest levels of professionalism. I feel lucky and blessed that my son goes to Primrose. The team creates and maintains an environment that facilitates learning and development like no other, both physically and cognitively.
It's been a well-rounded experience for our family. The curriculum has been great and the variety of educational and physical activities and opportunities has been amazing. We've witnessed tremendous progress in our children, as well as in other families. We wouldn't have it any other way.
One of my favorite things is that they focus on development AND age. I love how it's structured so that my child has a routine every day and knows what to expect.
I appreciate how comprehensive the curriculum is and how they consistently confirm alignment between the curriculum and current practices being implemented in all the classrooms. I also love how consistently I receive updates on what my child is doing each day, the pictures are my favorite part!
