The Primrose Pickerington location listened very well to our feedback. We were originally concerned that the location did not provide enough proactive and reactive communication about their teacher movement, but after providing our two cents we have felt much more in the loop. My only additional feedback is that Primrose leadership needs to stay on top of their strategic partnerships. We have paid for two "add ons" and in both scenarios, during the first week, the partner forgot about our kid. This reflects them, but still, it is your decision to partner with them and therefore their mistakes still reflect on you. Thank you for listening!
Our son has had a good experience so far attending the Primrose School. The activities are fun and engaging and he seems to be enjoying his time there.
Our oldest daughter attended Primrose 8 years ago, and from the very beginning, we felt a strong sense of trust and comfort with the staff and the education provided. Now, our 4-year-old son attends the school, and that same level of care, dedication, and quality continues to shine through. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and truly invested in the children’s growth. The curriculum blends learning and play so well, helping our kids build a solid foundation. We’re grateful to still be part of the Primrose family—it’s a place we genuinely feel at home.
The Direcfor Sophia was amazing! She took notice of all our concerns, took time out of her busy schedule to bond with our children during drop off.
The school programs have our children invested, engaged, and desiring to try new skills/sports/interests.
The security of the facility. Door codes were changed periodically, love the gated and shaded play areas
We moved to Pickerington from out of state and didn't know what to expect with child care options in the area for our 2 year old. Thankfully, Primrose has been a wonderful experience for us and our son. He loves all of the teachers he's worked with and calls them his "best friends." The staff are always so kind, and we truly appreciate that Primrose provides all of the snacks and meals to fuel our tiny tornado throughout the day. I love the balance of free play and structured activities, regular outdoor play, and also special events. My husband and I are so thankful for the Parent Night Out program, since we have no family around to help support childcare, and these are our only opportunities to spend time just the two of us at the moment. The only thing I really wish Primrose Pickerington had that isn't available is Kindergarten, especially since Pickerington Local only has half-day options, which is incredibly challenging for working parents. I know there are before and after school options at Primrose, but it'd be great to save all the trips back and forth from home to Primrose, to school, back to Primrose, and finally back home.
We recently enrolled our son at Primrose. The staff are all so wonderful, the teachers have all been so loving and dedicated to their work, and our son is consistently provided with stimulating, enriching activities that help him grow cognitively, socially, and emotionally. The only regret is that we didn’t start taking him there sooner.
The staff has been wonderful and so helpful as we navigate these years of big emotions! Our daughter is always telling us random facts and we feel the “kinder ready” curriculum has been a determining factor for her recent acceptance into a private kindergarten program. There have been changes and turnover, but I believe that is typical of any daycare/early school facility. The main teachers and admin staff have been great in addressing any issues as they arise. I will miss the provided breakfast and lunch when we move to kindergarten in the fall!
This school is wonderful! The staff is amazing and my kiddo loves it! They are caring on bad days and help establish routines that make good days better. It is a bit pricey but totally worth it if it’s in your range.
