We have sent all of our children to Primrose for nursery school through Pre-K, as well as Explorers summer camp.
The staff and facilities are top notch. We trust them completely to take care of our little ones.
Highly recommend.

My son attends Primrose for both the after-school and summer programs and has been part of the Primrose family since he was 3 years old. He truly enjoys his time there and is always happy and excited to attend. The teachers are excellent, caring, and dedicated to creating a positive learning environment. We have had a wonderful experience with Primrose and greatly appreciate the support, attention, and care they provide. I would highly recommend Primrose to other families looking for a nurturing and engaging program for their children.
Caring teachers and staff. Good updates about day-to-day learnings. Low turnover of staff. Clean and often updated. Could improve overall organization. When does child move up, when does their room change for drop off and pick up? That organization helps me be more comfortable as a parent, knowing that the staff is all on the same page about when and where children should be.
I started my daughter at Primrose immediately after maternity leave and have never doubted that choice in the six years since. Primrose has continually had wonderful teachers and admin staff, and has made lifelong friends in her classes. I'm confident in the care she receives, along with the education as she went into the pre-k classes. I feel she was better prepared for Kindergarten because of Primrose, and I'm so happy I could put her in the summer camp option once school ended. I've recommended Primrose to friends and will definitely continue to do so.
I would be very likely to recommend Primrose School of Solon to friends and family. My son has been there since preschool and continued through aftercare, and he is now 6 years old. Over the years, we have had a very positive experience. The school has provided a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for his growth and development. It has been reassuring as a parent to see him feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for there.
Teachers and staff are great - very kind and caring and they do so many fun educational activities in the toddler rooms and school-wide! The rooms are all very clean and well organized with age appropriate toys and activities. The school is very clean and pick-up and drop off are very easy. The staff does a great job of knowing all the kids and communicating throughout the day complete with pictures and descriptions of the activities via the app.
I would give the school a "10" if the school revised its food/meal plan approach to be healthier and more age appropriate. Infants and toddlers should not be fed highly processed and packaged food. Pizza, chicken nuggets and other highly processed foods (e.g. packaged muffins), especially those with high fructose corn syrup should not be fed to this age group. I am glad they allow us to bring in our own food as needed.
Two things I think would be great for the school to do:
1. Provide a "know-before-you-go" document/FAQ to parents in advance of their child moving up to the next room (any schedule differences, different processes, different items needed) to minimize questions and miscommunications and make the transitions go as smoothly as possible for both the teachers and the kiddos.
2. Periodically publish (maybe 2x a year) the product/ingredient list and associated nutritional values of the food that it serves to the kids.
We’ve had a great experience with Primrose so far. The staff is caring and attentive, and we’ve seen so much growth in our daughter since she started. It’s clear the teachers really care about the kids, and it gives us peace of mind knowing she’s in good hands every day. Highly recommend.
Every teacher we have had has been amazing. They are very attentive to the needs of each child. I feel that the development of my child has been excellent at Primrose and I couldn’t be happier.
