My son loves it here! He is of toddler age and looks forward to going every morning. We love all the art work he brings home and there has been a positive change in his language skills. The admin staff are very friendly and helpful. The app that they use for daily updates includes the activities they are working on, daily schedule and photos, which is reassuring when I want to check in to see how he is doing and direct communication to his teachers.
We have been extremely pleased with our experience at Primrose of West Gilbert. Both of our daughters have attended, and they have absolutely loved the teachers, staff, and owners. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, and our girls have enjoyed the curriculum and teaching style - they are always excited to go to school. We especially appreciate all of the thoughtful extras the staff provides for the kids, including Cookie Friday, anniversary celebrations with treats, the Halloween Parade, Spring Festival, Trunk or Treat, Holiday Festival, and more. It’s the little things they do that truly go above and beyond and make families feel special in choosing to send their children here.
When our oldest daughter started Kindergarten at Mesa Public Schools, her teacher was very impressed with how much she already knew and even asked where she had attended preschool and Pre-K. That was such a testament to the strong foundation she received at Primrose.
We couldn’t be more pleased with how the owners and staff go above and beyond to make every family feel like part of the Primrose community. I would highly recommend Primrose to any family looking for a quality, well-rounded daycare and preschool environment for their little ones.
We love Primrose! From the minute you walk in the door the staff is warm and welcoming. The lessons throughout the day are engaging and each day my son surprises us with something new he has learned. We would highly recommend!!
We love Primrose. In ever area we are more than pleased. Our granddaughter has been treated with care and love. Her safety is is the upmost concern along with her care and education. We know and respect the people who are there. From the healthy snacks and meals to the cleanliness to the activities to the education it is all at 100%. This is our 3rd year with Primrose and I would tell anyone if you want the best for your child or grandchild then Primrose is the way to go.
I would like to share that I am also a Regional Director within the Primrose organization; however, I am completing this survey from the perspective of a parent. My son has attended this school since he was an infant, and experiencing the program through both lenses has been incredibly meaningful.
Watching the curriculum and care come to life from a parent’s point of view has only deepened my appreciation for the Primrose brand. Harrison’s teachers truly love him as if he were their own, and the thought, care, and creativity they put into every lesson is evident each day.
I feel incredibly blessed to be part of a school community that consistently prioritizes children, families, and meaningful learning experiences. Being both a leader and a parent within Primrose has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
We’ve been at Primrose since July 2024 and so happy we decided to make the switch to Primrose. Although there has been quite a bit of change the last year with ownership taking over additional locations (definitely miss having Sheena and Kate L around!) still happy we have a few familar faces and amazing teachers. My only feedback would be messaging through the app can be confusing… teachers can post notes but I can’t respond to them and then seems like when I send messages to admin/classroom, they get lost/not responded too. Obviously if it was urgent, I am perfectly fine calling but for some of the non urgent items, it feels like there’s no way to contact except for talking directly to the teachers which I’m not always doing drop-off/pick up. Really though, we absolutely love Primrose West Gilbert and the community of teachers, families, and other staff!
I love the way the staff has cared for my kids over the past 3 years. However, there has been significant turnover of teachers thru the years and the presence of the leadership has significantly decreased with the owner opening new schools and using leadership at each location. By Kate doing this, it has changed the dynamic of the school and has changed the experience for parents.
Have a very complete curriculum for all small students grades. Do not think it's just a Daycare, its a complete beginning learning place, that take very good care of your children making them first on their list.
If there were ever any issues, they were addressed immediately by admin and it was reassuring to know my concerns weren’t falling on deaf ears. My son has made so many friends and loves spending time with his teachers too.
I think Primrose is a wonderful school with very caring and attentive teachers and staff. I tell everyone about it and I am so glad we have our granddaughter in this school. I believe she will be so prepared for higher education based on what she is getting there. I love the fact of uniforms to let each child stand out on educational performance and not anything else. They receive healthy snacks and lunches which again supports the idea of healthy eating habits. The school is very clean, neat and organized so there is no worry there. I do not feel neglectful with the time she is there as her days are filled with activities beneficial to her growth. Again I am so thankful our granddaughter is at Primrose.
The entire staff makes you feel cared about. My daughter truly enjoys being at daycare and that means the most when you can’t be there to care for your child while working.
I would still recommend putting a focus on organic foods and less processed foods but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. I wish everyone had access to a daycare like this!
Both our children attend Primrose West Gilbert and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Every teacher and admin we have worked with has been wonderful. You can tell they prioritize the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of the students. The staff is also great with communication and providing updates throughout the day, which has allowed us at home also support their education as we talk about what they learn through out the day.
The teachers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and well trained. I appreciate that the people that dont fit dont stick around. Curriculum and play have a fantastic balance. My kiddos who has attended since 5 months old (now 4) feels loved and has been taught so much. I feel the my kiddo is safe and receiving the best building block for his future. The meals are well around and get eaten lol. I love the app for communication and pictures. We feel welcomed and taken care of.
I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review, just to make sure it wasn’t too good to be true. My daughter has been attending Primrose for about five months now, since I returned from maternity leave, and I can honestly say this place is incredible.
From the director, Sheena, to all the teachers and staff, everyone has been truly amazing. My daughter lights up when she sees her teachers, staff, and all the other babies. That kind of joy says everything. I go to work each day without a single worry, knowing she’s in loving, capable hands.
Every concern I’ve ever had has been met with genuine care and immediate attention. As a new parent, choosing a daycare or school can be nerve wracking, but I would choose this location again and again without hesitation. I’ve already recommended it to loved ones. It’s such a wonderful place to watch your child grow and develop.
Staff are wonderful. It’s clear they take time to get to know all of the students and it’s such a warm and welcoming facility. My daughter has grown so much socially by attending preschool and pre-k here.
